After selling his own beloved mountain bike after being diagnosed with a brainstem glioma, the Trust gifted Karl and his partner Rachel with brand new bikes as well as a shotgun seat for their son Lachlan. Rachel shares the special times they had riding together, before Karl sadly passed away in September 2021.

Hazel shares what it meant to her and her family to be gifted a trip to Stewart Island together. Hazel sadly passed away in March 2022.

Jeremy’s wife Melissa shares the final family trip they took together in Queenstown, including a surprise helicopter flight to the top of glaciers and around Milford Sound.

Pat Ingram remembers the life and joyful character of her late son Alisdair. Alisdair sent an application to the Trust, requesting a couple of sleeping bags for his kids so they could go camping together. The Trust decided to also gift Alisdair and his wife a trip to Queenstown together.

Frankie was diagnosed with a rare type of brain cancer just prior to his third birthday, and passed away in April, 2021. His family shared with us what it meant to have the support of the Trust during Frankie’s time of treatment.
