Funding Criteria

The objects of the Trust will be to assist persons diagnosed with brain cancer, and their families, who are in financial need. In particular, the Trust will provide financial assistance to persons diagnosed with brain cancer, following their diagnosis and subsequent treatment:

• with travel costs necessary to enable them to receive evidence-based treatment not available in New Zealand where that treatment is supported by their suitably qualified treating clinician.
• to enable them, or their close family members, to obtain respite or similar care and relief and/or to experience domestic and/or international travel or other suitable rest and recreation opportunities that will improve their quality of life.
• carry out activities that support, or are ancillary to, the object of assisting persons diagnosed with brain cancer and their families who have a financial need.
