Funding Criteria

The objectives of the Trust are to assist persons diagnosed with brain cancer, and their families to enjoy suitable rest and recreation opportunities following their diagnosis and subsequent treatment, by assisting in the following areas:

• Providing experiences and opportunities to enjoy time with family and friends, to plan holidays and adventures, and to create lasting memories.
• By assisting with travel costs necessary to enable them to receive evidence-based treatment not available in New Zealand where that treatment is supported by their suitably qualified treating clinician.
• Enabling them, or their close family members, to obtain respite or similar care and relief that will improve their quality of life.
• To carry out activities that support, or are ancillary to, the object of assisting persons diagnosed with brain cancer and their families who have a financial need.
